Illustrative reports—not actual UI menu instructions. Report names and export options vary by edition. The examples show the fields to include.

01 / You provide

Choose your task.

  • Bank Statement to SpreadsheetA text-readable bank or card statement. Include every page.
  • Receipt MatchingA transaction export and the receipts or invoices to compare. Select up to 20 PDF, PNG or JPG documents.
  • Bank Rule FinderSeveral months of reviewed transaction history from one business. Keep the original descriptions, final categories, dates, direction, account and currency. Existing rules and the chart of accounts are optional.

Include references and account identifiers. For uncleared items, state the report cutoff; a transaction date alone does not establish when an item was open.

02 / Your review pack

A workpaper you can follow.

  • The prepared scheduleStructured transactions, receipt matches, uncleared-item findings or proposed recurring rules, depending on the tool.
  • Source referencesThe file, page or row behind each finding, with ambiguous and unreadable records kept visible.
  • Next actionsMissing documents, conflicting matches and the questions needed to finish the review.

Download an Excel workbook. Review it before adding rules, attaching receipts or changing entries in QuickBooks or Xero.
